Magically strange. Sinister pretty. How do you describe these!? Matthew Solomon‘s work is so captivating. I first became acquainted with his work at Maison Gerard in NYC and again through a private collector in Washington, CT.
Mathew’s work is so intricate and the glazing is applied in an a precise organic way (there’s that contradiction again!). My personal favorites are the tall bud vases and the small, delicate tulip sculptures.
