In my travels, I’m always on the lookout for interesting architecture and design. However, I particularly love it when I find these sorts of gems right in my backyard. That’s just what happened this past week on a visit to the Dallas Arboretum.
Many of the small buildings are covered right now in an array of gorgeous pumpkins and gourds. The buildings look straight out of the pages of a children’s fairy tale, but I also find the combination of shapes, colors, and sizes so beautiful and inspirational for the season.
As this is officially my first Thanksgiving living in Texas, it was a joy to see so many pumpkins and gourds so familiar to home back east.
There are many things to be thankful for this year. I hope you have a wonderful holiday celebration!
