This Highland park home renovation was a joy to wo

This Highland park home renovation was a joy to work on. I knew I wanted to bring the house back to its classic roots, as well as adding a fresh take on traditional Spanish style. I achieved this with pale and airy fabrics, sleek nickel accents and clean furniture silhouettes. We selected Benjamin Moore Simply White to freshen the walls and a soft palette of blues and greens that is consistent throughout the interiors. Profiling the personal tastes of clients is essential to my interior design process. Blue is their favorite color and it needed to stand out in this formal dining room. Clarence House silk fabric in powder blue on the chairs compliments the center stripe on the windows shades and pastel wallpaper on the ceiling. As a finishing touch, I added a large antique mirror at the end of the table to reflect the crystal chandelier. #sblhighlandparkspanish
