S. B. Long Celebrates Andrew Martin Design Review

The Andrew Martin Interior Design Review Volume 15 has just been released and Sue is honored to be among the featured designers in this prestigious book. Considered “the Bible of interior design,” this annual publication showcases their selections for the year’s definitive new work from an international roster of designers.

Earlier this month, Sue and the S. B. Long design associates attended a cocktail party and book signing at the Andrew Martin showroom in New York City.

Two other featured U.S. designers attended the signing: Kathleen Hay of Nantucket-based Kathleen Hay Designs and Daun Curry of Modern Declaration in New York.

Here you can glimpse the pages that feature Sue’s work, but we heartily recommend feasting on all the gorgeous design in this book, available on Amazon or at booksellers nationwide.

Sue feels immensely honored to have these spaces represented among the book’s stellar interiors.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by design and the subtle impact of our surroundings. Some of my earliest influences still resonate – I think of the dark woods and textured lodens of my father’s shooting club, the smell of fresh paint on a new canvas, and the bold symmetry of the Philip Johnson Glass house just down the street. For me, it was a natural path to become an Interior Designer. I love what I do. I’ve created this Journal to share my thoughts, finds and design inspirations. I hope you enjoy it!
